Tragically on January 11 2008, Alex, aged 5 years of Heywood passed away.
Dearly loved Daughter of Helen and Stephen,
beloved Sister of Guinever,
dearest Grandaughter of John and Carol.
Alex will be very sadly missed by all her Family and Friends. And all at Woodland Community Primary school.

THE devastated parents of a five-year-old girl who died after being found collapsed at school have paid tribute to their bubbly daughter who loved dancing and singing and was always there to help others.
Alex Mallinson, who lived with parents Helen and Stephen Mallinson and half-sister Gwin Robinson, 14, died on Friday, it is believed from a brain haemorrhage.
Alex, who was in the reception class at Woodland Primary School on Regent Street, had been playing at lunchtime that Friday when fellow pupils alerted staff that she was lying on the ground.
An ambulance was called as a member of staff attempted to resuscitate Alex, who was then taken to Fairfield General Hospital.
Helen and Stephen kept a vigil by their daughter’s bedside until a CT scan revealed she was suffering from a brain haemorrhage from which she could not recover.
They then made the heart-rending decision to let her pass away in peace.
Stephen, 26, said: \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"I was holding her hand and it was so cold. They had a blanket on her and you kept trying to pull it over her to keep her warm. We were sat with her when she died just before 9pm.
\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"About five minutes afterwards a little bird came to the window and started singing and it was there for hours.\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"
Alex’s family have been left with memories which make them smile, thinking of a little girl who made friends easily and would always look after other children.
Helen, 38, said: \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"She was like a little mother hen, she would always make sure everyone else was all right before herself.
\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"She would talk about people and I wouldn’t even know who they were, she was so friendly, she knew everybody.\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"
After attending the nursery at Woodland School, Alex had started in the reception class there.
Helen said: \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"She loved school, absoloutely loved it.
\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"Even in the holidays she would ask, ‘Am I going to school today?’ and when I said no she would ask why not.\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"
At home, Alex was a bright, outgoing character who kept her family entertained.
Helen said: \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"She was bubbly and happy all the time and she was always singing and dancing.
\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"She used to go to dancing lessons on Tuesday and she loved that too.\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"
Stephen, a technician, said: \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"I work late on a Friday night and when I came home she would be stood at the top of the stairs, shouting ‘daddy!’
\\\\\\\"On the morning of the day she died it was the first time she had ever written her last name in the book at school where the children sign in.
\\\\\\\"Normally she just wrote ‘Alex’ but that morning she had said she wanted to write her full name so I showed her how to do it and she was so proud of herself.\\\\\\\"
A statement from Charles Sutcliffe, headteacher at Woodland Primary School, said: \\\\\\\"Alex always gave of her best in everything she did.
\\\\\\\"She has touched the hearts of all at Woodland and will be sadly missed.
\\\\\\\"Our thoughts are with her family at this sad time.\\\\\\\"
